Accommodation

In Jamaica the travelers can find both all inclusive resorts but also those which offer the tourists the possibility to create their own package. Most of the resorts are either directly on the beach – most of them private – or the beach is really close by. The resorts offer the possibility to practice water sports or take different kinds of tours. Many resorts offer packages, such as honeymoon or wedding packages and water sports packages.

Things to do

Without a doubt the main attractions in Jamaica are the beaches and water sports. AguaSol Theme Park is located on the Walter Fletcher Beach and offers a wide variety of activities, including water sports, games and table tennis. James Bond Beach Club is located on a private peninsula near Ocho Rios. There are three beaches, a restaurant, a bar and the possibility to practice jet skiing, kayaking or taking a tour in a glass bottom boat.

In Ocho Rios at the Dolphin Cove at Treasure Reef you can swim with dolphins and other marine wildlife.

If you want to be active, you can take a bicycle tour, go horseback riding, practice river rafting, go scuba diving or take a nature tour.

There are four beautiful waterfalls in Jamaica, all located in lush tropical parks. Mayfield Falls & Mineral Springs is best accessed from Negril and offers great hikes and the possibility to cool in one of the 20 natural swimming pools.

Several restaurants are located right by the waterfront, offering some of the best views and food in Jamaica.
