Resorts in Montserrat

If you plan to visit Montserrat forget the idea of all inclusive resorts. There aren’t any behemoths on the island; instead you’ll find small places which offer lovely accommodation and activities for the guests. The island is still recovering after being hit by hurricanes in the 1980s and volcanic eruptions in the 1990s.

Tourist season

Just like in the rest of the Caribbean, the high season starts in December and ends in April. The wet season represents the low season and lasts between June and November. Compared to the rest of the Caribbean, it’s a bargain to visit the island right now. The tourism board is offering really cheap accommodation in an effort to promote tourism again.
