Acampa Nature Adventure Tours

Acampa Nature Adventure Tours are the perfect way to experience the beauty and excitement of Puerto Rico. You can explore a cave, walk under a waterfall or tube over a clear blue river while having fun and learning about one of the most gorgeous places on earth. Bring between five and 11 friends for a classic adventure package or customize your own adventure tour for an unforgettable experience.

Acampa is located in north of San Juan, but will take you throughout the “island of enchantment” to highlight historical, environmental and other places of note.

Tours and Packages

Classic tours are packages that have become popular.

You can zipline through the Toro Negro Rainforest for a fantastic view of a series of waterfalls, mountains and forests.

The Organic Tanama Cave and Zipline Adventure may also include ziplines but this is a totally different tour. You’ll be exploring the caves of the Rio Tanamá, complete with arched cave formations and stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Custom tours are whatever you want to make of it. Whether for a team building exercise or as part of your vacation, make sure to talk to the Acampa staff about your dream adventure.

What to Expect

Once you make your choice on the type of adventure you’d like to have, all you have to do is pack, because Acampa takes cares of the rest. You’ll want to bring water, your camera, close-toed shoes that can get wet, comfortable hiking clothes that can get wet, a towel and change of dry clothes to leave in the van. Most tours include pick-up from your hotel and all equipment.

They also include homemade Creole dishes for lunch that are served buffet style, so you can choose what you’d like to try. Additionally, your tour guides’ top concern is your safety but their second concern is your fun. Many of Acampa’s tour guides are quite funny and have much to say about their home. Adventures typically costs $149 a person if they are a full day and $85 a person for a half day adventure.
