SuperClubs Caribbean Family Deals

SuperClubs Resorts are bent on keeping their business this season, despite rising airline ticket rates and the declining value of the dollar. The all-inclusive resorts have worked out a deal to offer you a family vacation in the Caribbean that won’t break the bank.

Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free: This promotion began on May 1, and allows children from 2-13 years of age to stay at the resorts absolutely free. The press release goes on to say that single parents are covered too, with a waiver of the usual single supplement. I’m not sure what that means. I assume the single parent pays for one adult, no supplement, no cost for kiddies.

Family Adventures at Starfish: This resort, located in Trelawny, Jamaica is the spot for adventurous families. The property offer teens a private island hideaway just a short swim away, which can offer parents a welcome break. You can spice things up with windsurfing and flying trapeze lessons. The Kid’s Club offers supervised, age-specific programs keep the little ones entertained, and the grown-ups can get a little pampering at the Blue Mahoe Spa. Nightly rates at Starfish start at $74 per adult; $50 per child (age 2-13). No single supplement!

Aqua Marine Antics at Breezes: This Curaçao resort offers Kids Stay Free and Single Parent Promotions. This resort has bragging rights as the Dutch Caribbean’s first Super-Inclusive resort. The tots will love the renovated 12,000-square-foot Kid’s Club, young guests and the young at heart can entertain themselves with anything from circus workshops to bouncy boxing. The property is located a short two miles from Willemstad right on the beach. Rates start at $129 per adult, per night.

Breezes Puerto Plata: Breezes, located in the Dominican Republic is also offering Kids Stay Free and Single Parent Promotions. The press release claims getting there is a breeze with JetBlue’s new four hour nonstop service between New York and Puerto Plata. Kids can chill at the Mini-club, while parents and grandparents unwind at the Lighthouse Spa. Rates start at $60 per adult, per night.

All promotions run from May 1 through December 22, 2008. A two-night minimum booking is required; all rates are land only.

Every SuperClub resort is Super-Inclusive, providing you with accommodations, all meals, snacks and cocktails, unlimited use of all sports facilities, entertainment, weddings, recreational activities, and hotel taxes. No tipping is allowed.
