Resorts in Martinique

The most popular resorts area is Pointe du Bout, to the south of Martinique. You will find the majority of the resorts along the beaches of Ste Anne, Le Diamant and Les Anses d’Arlets. They offer the possibility to practice a variety of water sports.

Tourist season

Just like in the rest of the Caribbean, the high season lasts between December and end-of-April when the Europeans generally flock to the island. The prices are at their highest and you cannot avoid the crowds. Between May and November, Europeans avoid the area mostly because of the wet season but in July and August the locals are traveling, so the prices tend to go up again. If you want to avoid both the high prices and the crowds, visit Martinique during May and June.
