The islands are not exactly the most beautiful above ground, but there are many incredible diving spots to check out. The beaches are very beautiful as well and the islands in general are the playground of the rich and famous. Many celebrities have a house here and you are most likely to see some expensive cruise ships docking.
The upscale resorts are aimed at the wealthy, with the majority of tourists coming from USA and Canada. Also, all inclusive adult resorts are aimed at couples looking for an intimate and careless honeymoon or anniversary.
The majority of resorts cater for the romantic tourists who want to spend either their honeymoon or their anniversary here. Hence, there are plenty of romantic packages available at many resorts. Plenty of activities are added to the packages and of course, a romantic dinner and massage.
If you are looking for budget hotels you should know that there are some but you need to book well in advance.

Things to do
There are some great beaches on the islands, out of which the award winning Grace Bay stands out in particular. Although the islands are not incredibly beautiful on the ground, you can find incredible diving spots, which makes the destination very interesting for those who like to scuba or snorkel.
Great diving spots can be found at: Providenciales Princess Alexandra National park, Providenciales Northwest Point, West Caicos, French Cay, Pine Cay, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, Grand Turk and Salt Cay
Other water sports such as kite surfing and sailing are also available. Archery and golfing are among two of the preferred activities of the wealthy guests. Provo Golf Club holds an annual amateur tournament and other golfing events.
Since during the low season tourism is practically dead on the islands, the local authorities are trying to boost it by organizing an annual series of concerts called the Turks & Caicos Music and Cultural Festival. It was organized for the first time in 2003 and each year, for a month, notable international stars come to play here.
