The Buccaneer St Croix


was founded in the 17th century and has been a family run hotel for many years. It is the longest running resort in both the Caribbean and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Located on the beautiful island of St. Croix The Buccaneer is beautifully located on the south shore of the island overlooking the Caribbean. The resort is located just minutes away from the capital of the island, Christiansted. It is located on 340 acres and allows access to three beautiful beaches.

You can also enjoy duty free shopping at some of the best known store in the Virgin Islands in the close by capital of Christiansted. St Croix is also the only U.S. Virgin Island that has a casino on it. One of the Virgin Islands best golf courses is located just steps away from the resort.

Rooms and Amenities

This hotel offers many options for rooms. There are many types of suites, great houses, and deluxe rooms that offer everyone a great choice to stay in. Every room features either a private balcony or a private patio. There are rooms that offer both ocean views and mountain views.

All room rates include a full American breakfast every morning of your stay, introduction to scuba lessons, kayaking, snorkeling, and floating rafts. Also included in the daily rates are twice a day maid services, live music, daily activity guides, and kids camp for children ages 4-12. During the spring,summer and fall children stay free and can enjoy breakfast for free when accompanied by their parents.

Rooms at The Buccaneer start at 280.00 per night for the great house with the mountain view and go up to 695.00 per night for the Ficus Suites. Like most hotels on the islands, there are special, more expensive rates for the holiday season starting December 20 and going through January 1
