Nisbet Plantation Beach Club Special Offers

Nisbet Plantation Beach Club on the beautiful island of Nevis is offering guests free airport transfers in the month of July. If you’ve ever paid for a cab in the Caribbean, you know this is a pretty snazzy offer. The transportation includes a private water taxis from St. Kitts airport to neighboring Nevis.

The press release was quick to point out the Nisbet Plantation Beach Club was ranked the Caribbean’s #1 Luxury Hotel according to TripAdvisor’s 2008 Travelers’ Choice Awards. It is a historic sugar plantation, located smack dab on the beach. The property consists of the Great House, built in 1778, and 36 cottages set in 30 acres of lush tropical foliage. The resort recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation. By making transportation (and thus life) easier, they score points with me.

For all Nisbet Plantation guests arriving in July and staying six or more nights, the hotel will pre-arrange free airport transfers. Guests will receive complimentary round-trip transportation for two (per room) from either the Nevis airport (NEV) or St. Kitts airport (SKB).

To celebrate summer Nisbet makes it easier than ever to get to and offers great summer rates. As always, a Nisbet greeter will meet guests at the airport (hence the reason for advance arrangements) and personally assist them in getting to Nisbet Plantation. From the Nevis airport, Nisbet is a short 10-minute taxi ride. From St. Kitts airport (with recent new non-stops from New York and Atlanta), the primary transport is a refreshing water taxi ride. Guests are whisked by taxi from the airport to the water taxi and picked up by a taxi in Nevis. All in all, it’s about 45 minutes and a $275 value.

What’s the catch? Well, if you land in St. Kitts after 6:00 p.m., there is a $50 charge per person. Still not a bad deal.

Room Rates

Guests can also score some savings with Nisbet’s Sultry Summer Savings special and save up to 20% off the lowest rates of the year depending on the length of stay. If you stay for 6 to 10 nights, you’ll receive a 15% discount. If you stay 11 nights or more, you’ll get 20% off.
