July in the Caribbean
July in the Caribbean is the heart of the festival season, with events all over the place. Music lovers in particular will find something to love this month, in whatever direction your taste runs.
Turks & Caicos Music and Cultural Festival: This festival is for the grown-ups, featuring Grammy award winning artists in the beautiful Turks & Caicos islands. Tickets are pretty reasonable, for Caribbean rates, but accommodations in these islands are on the higher end of the price range.
Reggae Sumfest: Lovers of reggae will dig this festival, the largest in the Caribbean. Reggae Sumfest takes place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, where bargain hunters are much more likely to find some great digs. Festival tickets are reasonable as well.
