Hotels in the US Virgin Islands

If you are trying to avoid the resorts and their prices, one good idea is to look for hotels. Although some are also part of resorts, you will find cheap hotels with very affordable prices if you are willing to look further from the beaches. Usually, good hotels can be found in the cities. You can hence mix checking out the sights with a visit to the beach.

Climate and tourist season

The climate is tropical and the high temperature is cooled down by the trade winds. There are little variations in temperatures from season to season. The wet season lasts between May and November and hurricanes can occur. Otherwise, the humidity is quite low.

The high tourist season lasts between November/December (depending on the hotel) and April, with the highest prices being around Christmas and New Year’s. During the low season, you can find a lot of discounted packages offered by the resorts.
