Hotels in Martinique

The majority of resorts and hotels are located in the southern part of Martinique, where the beautiful beaches are. If you don’t fancy an all-inclusive resort and prefer to stay in a small hotel and plan the activities to suit your needs, then the hotels are the best choice for you. Many have their own beach or are located close by a beach, offering the possibility to practice a lot of sports.

Climate and tourist season

The climate is tropical with an average temperature year round ranging between 75F and 85F. The wet season lasts between June and October and the island can be in the path of powerful hurricanes.

The high season lasts between December and end of April, when the prices are at their highest and the crowds head to the Caribbean. July and August are part of the shoulder season when the locals usually take advantage of the good weather and the airfare prices tend to be on a high side even now. If you want to avoid the crowds, visit Martinique in May and June. The weather is still nice, the prices are lower and the crowds are pretty much non-existent.
