Sheraton Grand BahamaThe Sheraton Grand Bahama Island Our Lucaya Resort’s in the Bahamas is offering “Free Fridays” for guests, which is one heck of a deal. This program allows you to book any four day, three night stay and pay for just two nights. The rates aren’t super cheap at $89 per person, per night, but that’s just what you get in the Caribbean.

For those of you with children, kids under the age of 11 can stay too for just $5 more per night.

The Thank Lucaya It’s Friday “TLIF” program also offers you a free breakfast, free happy hour and free unlimited golf on your own particular Free Friday.

As confusing as it may be, for this promotion you can make any weekday into a “Friday.” So your Friday can be on a Tuesday or even a Monday. This flexibility gives you the choice of when to enjoy your free “weekend” festivities.

The $89 rate is based on double occupancy with a minimum stay of three consecutive nights, so if you’re traveling on your own you’re SOL. Air-inclusive packages are also available if you don’t want to take the time to book a flight.

What else do you get at the Sheraton? The resort comes complete with 478 guest rooms and suites alongside 7 and a half acres of Bahamian beaches. Activities include a sand playground and 35-foot-diameter wading pool; Camp Lucaya, an activity center designed for children ages 3 to 12 all for the kiddies. For grown ups, there is a 60-foot tower overlooking the 10-person spa, as well as the Isle of Capri Casino, which comes complete with 400 slot machines and 30 gaming tables.

You can book your “Free Friday” at travelocity.com/freefridays.
