Best Tennis Resorts in Bahamas

Many travelers like to complete their Bahamas vacation with some active fun, which in many cases means playing tennis. Plenty of resorts offer tennis courts and often the guests can use the facilities as part of the price paid for the vacation. It’s not hard to find a hotel in Bahamas which offers a tennis court but choosing the best court can be a bit of a hassle.

Four Seasons Great Exuma

The sporting facilities offered by this top resort comprise much more than just their six tennis courts. The courts are lit for night play and the playing surface is Hydro Har-Tru You can rent the equipment at the pro shop. Private or semi-private lessons can be arranged for a fee. The tennis courts are open daily between 7 AM and 9 PM.

The resort offers 183 rooms and suites, all with great views. All rooms have terraces or balconies. The standard room rates start at US$375 per night, while the packages range between US$405 per night for the bed & breakfast package and US$920 per night for the beach cay package.

One & Only Ocean Club, Nassau

The resort offers the possibility to play lots of land and water sports and tennis is among them. There are 6 courts, all lit for night play.

The room prices vary between US$500 per night for a garden view room and US$970 per night for a garden cottage (during the low season, until December 18).

Breezes Bahamas

At the Nassau resort, there are four three courts (and a whooping 50 total courts in all Breezes resorts), all lit for night play. There aren’t any fees to rent the equipment needed.

Prices range between US$1,785 for 7 nights in a deluxe garden view room and US$2,265 for 7 nights in a deluxe ocean front view (one free night special rates).

Pink Sands Hotel

There are three tennis courts available for the guests, all lit for night play. Tennis is pretty much the only on-site sport which can be practiced here (besides swimming in the pool).

The high season (Dec 15 – Apr 30) rates vary between US$750 per night for an one bedroom cottage and US$2650 per night for 2 bedroom ocean view cottage with Jacuzzi.

Banyan Beach Club

Although the resort is mostly known for offering the #1 golf course in the Bahamas, there are also three tennis courts for the guests to use, all lit for night play.

The high season (Mar –Aug) rates range between US$480 per night for the 3 bedroom condo and US$840 per night for the VIP 4 bedroom condo. The minimum stay is 3 nights and the rates do not include the taxes.
