Best Restaurants in the US Virgin Islands

Just like in the case of all Caribbean islands, you should expect to find the sea-food at its best in the US Virgin Islands. Among the travelers’ favorite places you’ll also find interesting mixes of American fast food combined with traditional Caribbean cuisine but that just adds to the uniqueness of the island. And best of all, there are enough choices for those looking to eat healthy.

Morgan’s Mango

Located in St. John, the restaurant offers a mix of Caribbean cuisines: Creole, Bahamian, Cuban, Jamaican, Haitian, Puerto Rican and Mayan. All those influences combined created a very interesting menu, which features items such as Empenadas, Flying Fish from Barbados and Cajun Shrimp from New Orleans. A huge list of cocktails (known as “Frozen Drinks” on their menu) makes your mouth water: caipirinha, sangria, mojito and mango tango are just few of them.

Craig & Sally’s

Voted best of St.Thomas in 2008, Crag & Sally’s is a Caribbean Wine Bistro. The restaurant is open for Lunch on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and for dinner on Wednesday and Sunday. The menu changes every day but in general, you can find an international cuisine, sprinkled with Caribbean style dishes. The seafood is at its best and you also shouldn’t miss the tapas (one for $6.00).

Lobster Reef Cafe

Great views, great prices and a lovely location in St.Croix…this is in short the description for Lobster Reef Café. Pirate themed and offering fresh sea food, the restaurant is probably the best in St.Croix. It’s right on the beach so after you enjoy your meal, feel free to take your drink on the beach and enjoy it in a relaxing and romantic way. The items in the menu even cater for those who are trying to watch their waist line even on vacation (there are calorie free desserts available!).

Angry Nate’s

The cuisine can be described as sea-food, in general, but you’ll find enough fast food items here to start asking questions. Sandwiches, fish and chips, tortillas..yup, quite interesting. And don’t worry about your attire either. But this is one of the most popular places to eat in Christiansted. The prices are also affordable.
